Obituary for Janice Faye Smith Janice Faye Couch Smith, age 72, of Milledgeville passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018. Mrs. Smith was born September 6, 1946 in Forsyth, Georgia, to the late Edward Laforest Couch and the late Jeanette Farr Couch. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Lamon Derrick Smith.

Mrs. Smith lived in Baldwin County for the past 40 years. She Retired as a Corrections Officer from Rivers State Prison, and was a member of Westview Baptist Church in Milledgeville. Janice is survived by: her Husband, Larry D. Smith of Milledgeville ; Her Daughters, Robin (& Winston) Boyd of Jones County, and Dawn (& James) Caraway of Jones County ; Her Sons, Michael Shaw of Putnam County, and Dan Smith of Tuskegee, AL ; 10 Grandchildren, and 7 Great Grandchildren and her angel, Teresa Patterson.
