Janice Lynn Hancock April 24, 1936 – January 27, 2019 Janice Lynn Morris Hancock, age 82, a resident of Summertown, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Pulaski. The family will celebrate her life with services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on April 24, 1936 in Springfield, Illinois, Janice was the daughter of the late Richard Morris and the late Nola Girard Morris. She is survived by her sons: Robert Hancock of Austin, TX, Michael Hancock of Atlanta, GA, Patrick Hancock of Austin, TX; daughters: Cindy Hancock of Youngsville, LA, Mindy Girouard of Ethridge, TN; sisters: Lavonne Givens of Tallulah, LA, Lavergne Ryan of Joplin, MO, Shirley Melton of Vicksburg, MS; grandchildren: Jordan Hancock, Quinton Hancock, Mallory Harris, Adam Soulier, Renee Girouard, Casey Girouard; and two great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Robert “Pee Wee” Hancock; and grandson: Benjamin Hancock.
