Obituary for Janie Lee Combs Griffith Janie Lee Combs Griffith, 66, of Jonesville, VA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 19, 2018. She was born on March 26, 1952, to Julia Lynch Combs and the late John Brown Combs. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Jonesville.

In addition to her mother, Janie is survived by her husband of 46 years, Rod Griffith; two daughters, Cara Griffith and Sara Williams and husband Wes; two grandchildren, Philip and Julia Williams; a brother, Johnny Combs and wife Connie Daugherty; a special sister, Wandaleen Adams and husband Roger; and two nieces, Jordan Combs and Brooke Adams Azer. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6:00 p.m. Saturday, December 22, at the First United Methodist Church of Jonesville. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Rev.

Layne Pennington officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be sent to the First United Methodist Church of Jonesville, 100 Church Street, Jonesville, VA 24263.
