She is survived by her children, Steven Alewine, Katrina Stephens and granddaughter, Heather Mixon, brother, William Sherrill, sister, Laverne Curry and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle Gibson and Robert Sherrill, brothers, Marty Gibson and Douglas Gibson.
