Obituary of Janis Wyman Janis M. Crowner Wyman While holding the hand of her Lord and Savior, Janis Crowner Wyman, age 67, of McKean Twp. , lost her aggressive battle with blood cancer on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic. A cherished wife, mother, and grandmother; Jan was born in Erie on December 24, 1950, daughter of the late Robert Crowner and Madeline Crowner Hinkler.

Janis was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and worked at Hammermill Paper Co. as well as Marine Bank / PNC Bank prior to retirement. She was a graduate of St. Ann’s School and then East High School. She loved gardening and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her brother Russell Crowner (Janet). Survivors include her husband, Ross Wyman; two children, Brent Wyman (Theresa) of Erie and Grant Wyman (Shelly) of East Lyme, CT; two brothers, Robert Crowner (Alice) of The Villages, FL, Morris Crowner (Candace) of Erie; sister, Rebecca Wass (John) of Erie; four grandchildren, Leath, Annika, Bryce and Ada and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be observed at Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.

on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 11 a.m. followed by internment at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
