Obituary for George Molder Jr. George L. Molder, Jr., age 84, of Erie, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 at his residence having lived a full life with a full heart. He was born in Cleveland, OH, on October 14, 1933, the son of the late George L. and Verdies Weissman Molder. George graduated from Shaw High School in 1950 and later served in the United States Army.

He worked as a welder for General Electric for over 30 years. George was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan, never losing hope. He enjoyed daily car rides site seeing around town and always had time for a good conversation.

His love for animals was a passion throughout his lifetime which was a reflection of his kindness and willingness to help those in need. In addition his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Jacquelynn Wojdacz and his brother Robert Molder. Survivors include his daughters, Beth Molder Smith and her husband, Jim Smith, Carla Molder, Tammy Elliot and her husband, Donald, and Susan Zybowski and her husband, Paul; his sons, Richard Molder, Timothy Molder and his wife, Barbara, and Jody Molder and his wife, Liana; his step-sons, Frank Henry and his wife, Diane, and Ronald Henry; his former wife Dorothy Molder; his daughter-in-law, Jane Molder; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
