Obituary for Lawrence Theuret Lawrence D. Theuret, 80, of Summit Twp. , passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 11, 2018 at Manchester Commons following a brief illness. He was born in Erie on November 4, 1937 a son of the late Roy and June Seymour Theuret.

Larry graduated from Academy High School and served in the Unites States Army National Guard. He worked at Lord Corporation as a stockroom supervisor for 41 years before retiring in 1997. He enjoyed painting, working on cars, and camping with his family.

He loved wintering in Florida with his wife, Carol, going to Disneyworld, and his dog, Jasper. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his great grandson, Jameson Brown. Survivors include his wife, Carol Chase Theuret; one son, Mark Theuret and his wife, Sharon, of Edinboro; three daughters, Dr. Lisa Schening and her husband, Stan Gleason, of Edinboro, Michelle Brown and her husband, Eric, of Erie, and Melanie Lee and her husband, Adam, of Edinboro; one sister, Lois Giewont and her husband, John, of Erie; his mother in law, E. June Chase; one brother in law, David Chase and his wife, Connie, of Erie; 15 grandchildren, Deanna, Alicia, Brittany, Carynn, Shana, Daniel, Jared, Derek (Carlie), Crysti, Jason, Cory, Brittany, Caitie, Mallory, and Tristen; eight great grandchildren, Kennedy, Ellie, Miles, Bayla, Harper, Benjamin, Emmett, and Everly; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd. , on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to services there on Monday morning at 10:00 a.m.. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
