Obituary for Paul Senita Paul Senita, 92, of Wattsburg, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Monday September 17, 2018 at LECOM Senior Living Center. He was born in Wattsburg on April 28, 1926 a son of the late Michael and Anna Hretz Senita. Paul was a graduate of Wattsburg High School and a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.
He worked the family dairy farm with his father and then his wife, Helen, and sons. The herd of registered Holsteins he established near Wattsburg brought in visitors and buyers from around the world. Cattle and frozen embryos were exported to 17 different countries on five continents.
Paul retired in his early 80’s and the herd was dispersed to buyers in nine different states. His real passion, however, was his family. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Helen Pelc Senita; his grandson, Erik Senita; two children in infancy, Judy and Brian Senita; three sisters, Anna Johnson, Margaret Wagner McCullough, and Shirley Foster; and three brothers, Andrew, Michael, and John Senita. Survivors include three sons, Dr. Gary Senita and his wife, Anna Marie, of Millcreek, Mark Senita and his wife, Judy, of Summit, and Matt Senita and his wife, Marcie, of Wattsburg; nine grandchildren, Dr. Jeffrey Senita, Dr. Curt Senita (Kasey), Vincent Senita (Lauren), Anthony Senita, Phillip Senita (Emily), Nicholas Senita (Shivani), Jason Senita (Candi), Justin Senita (Emily), and Julie Wentz(Jon); 12 great grandchildren; one brother, Pete Senita of Erie; and many nieces and nephews.
