Jay A. Clark Panguitch, Utah Jay Arthello Clark, 80, passed away at his home in Panguitch on December 25, 2018. He was born May 1, 1938 in Ogden to Arthello and Nellie Proctor Clark. He married Charlotte Hales, August 15, 1959 in Spanish Fork.

He worked in construction most of his life for Garfield County. He and his wife owned and operated the Proctor Motel and Bryce Way Motel for several years. He served for 8 years in the Army National Guard.

He loved to hunt, fish and prospect for gold. Jay loved being with his grandkids, especially taking them for rides in the hills. He is survived by his wife of Panguitch; children: Jay Lynn Clark, Provo; Todd Paul Clark, St. George; Michele Clark Lamb, Panguitch; and Stacy (Irvin) Madson, LaVerkin; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; siblings: Barbara Bowman, Gary Clark and Sandra Clark, all of Ogden.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack Clark; sister, Betty (Jack) Barnes; sister-in-law, Sue Clark; and brother-in-law, Vern Bowman; daughter-in-law, Dixie Clark. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Panguitch 1st Ward Chapel, 550 South 100 West, where friends may call for viewing Friday from 11:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Panguitch Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
