Jay’s Obituary Jay D. Faist, 54 Years, of Beatrice, NE passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Beatrice Community Hospital. He was born March 25, 1964 in Fremont, NE to Gary and Lois (Rood) Faist. Jay grew up in Scribner until the age of 5.

He then resided in several places including Kearney, Hastings, Fremont and Norfolk and in January 1978, he settled in Beatrice. He is survived by his parents, Gary and Lois Faist of Fremont; brothers, Kelly (Monica) Faist, Matthew Faist all of Wayne, NE; sister, Michelle (Bryon) Page of Omaha, NE; aunts, Karen (George) Robertson of Mead, NE, Judy Rood of Ashland, MO and nephews, Joshua and Caleb Page. Jay was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Memorial Mass 10:30 A.M., Thursday, January 17, 2018 at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in North Bend, NE. Father Keith Rezac will officiate. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to The Beatrice State Development Center. Moser Memorial Chapel 2170 N Somers Ave.
