Jaylen Amir Coleman, age 19, passed away suddenly Sunday, December 16, 2018. He was born August 16, 1999 in Marion, Illinois to Felice Hardin and Terry J. Coleman. Jaylen was a 2017 graduate of Grant Township High School.

In July of 2017 he enlisted into the U.S. Air Force and attained the title of Medical Readiness Technician. Jaylen was a beautiful soul who enjoyed music, dancing and PlayStation. His infectious smile lit up the hearts of all who knew him.

Jaylen is survived by his mother, Felice Hardin; father, Terry Coleman; siblings, Amber Martin, Kiarra Hardin and Darion Hardin; maternal grandmother, Paulette Martin; maternal grandfather, Milton Brooks; uncles, Eric Brooks, Jerry Martin; an Aunt, Etoy Brooks; and adored by many cousins, especially “Jas”. Friends and family may meet on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service at Thompson Spring Grove Funeral Home, 8103 Wilmot Road, Spring Grove, IL 60081. Interment will be at Grant Cemetery, Ingleside, IL.
