Obituary for Jaymie Leigh Gunderman Jaymie Leigh Gunderman, 31 of Clare, MI left us unexpectedly Sunday, October 28th, 2018. Jaymie is survived by her mother, Jill Gunderman, the love of her life, Shawn Stockford, her aunt (other mother), Judy Gunderman, grandparents Roland and Leora Gunderman, her in-laws Paula and Bill Shroyer, her siblings Lindsey, Kelsey, and Mark, her several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and she was blessed beyond all measure with an abundance of close friends who are also family. Jaymie was preceded in death by her father-in-law Ricky Stockford.
Jaymie was a graduate of Clare High School and was employed at The Evening Post Bar and Grill. Jaymie was a unique and caring individual who touched the lives of all who knew her. She was also known for not holding back and had a knack for telling it like it is.
Her smile was warm and her laugh infectious. Her sense of adventure led her on many excursions with friends and family from fishing to ball games, concerts or camping, casinos in Vegas to the Zoo in Nashville. Jaymie was always up for an adventure, even if it was just reading a good book or hosting a get-together.
Anyone that knew Jaymie also knew her unwavering love for dogs – and we know…. . she loved dogs probably more than she liked people, especially her Gyspie, Gilbert & Skeeter.
Please join us on Saturday, November 3rd at 1:00 p.m. as we gather to celebrate the beautiful life of Jaymie, and share your cherished memories with family and friends at the Farwell Chapel of the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in honor of Jaymie are recommended to the Clare County Animal Shelter or your local area shelter or rescue.
