Obituary for Floyd Koontz Deceased’s Obituary: Floyd James Koontz-Age 66 of Farwell, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Mid Michigan Medical Center, Midland. Floyd was born on February 24, 1952 to parents Loren Donald and Lila Ruthella (LaVoye) Koontz in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Floyd hauled milk for local dairy farms for over 30 years, had a love for hunting, working outside, as well as outside projects, and could always be counted on to help family and friends.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge # 2452 and Lake Eagles FOE Arie # 3761. He is survived by his son Chris and wife Jennifer Koontz of Cadillac, sisters Carol (Gail) Irwin of Clio, Donna Clark of Florida, and a brother Dennis (Donna) Koontz of Arizona, beloved nephews Michael (Kristi) and Steven (Kim) Irwin, and a niece Aimee Koontz, as well as his significant other Michelle Riskovich. A graveside service is planned for Monday, October 8, 2018 at 11AM at Surrey Township Cemetery in Farwell.

Friends and family may visit on Sunday, October 7, from 5 to 7 PM, at the Campbell-Stocking Funeral Home in Farwell. Memories and condolences to the family may be shared online at www. CampbellStocking.com.
