Obituary for Glenn R. Boggs Glenn R. Boggs, age 55 of Clare, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at his home. Glenn was born the son of Ronald and Beverly (Fairchild) Boggs on December 24, 1962 in Fort Riley, Kansas. Glenn and his family had moved to Clare at a young age; he was a graduate of Clare High School.
While attending Michigan State University, Glenn had began working at the Lansing Kmart; following his graduation he transferred to the Mt. Pleasant store until it closed. Most recently Glenn had worked at Meijers in Mt.
Pleasant in the meat department. Glenn was united in marriage to Donna Kay Charters on July 18, 2004. He had been a leader in the Blue Ribbon 4-H Club in Clare County and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
Glenn is survived his wife Donna; his son Jake (Amanda LoSardo) Boggs of Farwell; his mother and stepfather Beverly (Joe) Crawford of Clare; stepchildren Anthony (Stephanie) Stachowiak and Jennifer (Shawn May) Stachowiak both of Mt. Pleasant, Steven (Jennifer) Stachowiak of Gladwin, Joseph Stachowiak of Caro, Christopher Baginski of Lake and Kelly Corbat of Sanford; his siblings Patrick (Becky) Boggs of Clare, Kimberly (Joe) Lauhon of Texas, Renee (Brian) Tomaski and Tonya Crawford both of Clare; two step grandchildren Steven and Kenneth May as well as many nieces and nephews. Glenn was predeceased by his father and an infant brother.
Visitation and services will be held at the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Services will take place on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 1 P.M. with Pastor Jim Young officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for them to decide on a use at a later date.
