Obituary for Stephen Douglas Edwards Stephen Douglas Edwards – age 70, passed away at his home on October 13, 2018. Stephen was born on November 10, 1947 in Eaton Rapids, MI to parents James Irvin and Ruby Martha (Wood) Edwards. He served with the United States Army from July 1969 until July 1975.

He served in Vietnam from December 69′ until November of 70′ and was decorated with several medals. Stephen worked maintenance for over 19 years with Disney World. He was married to Kathleen Lyons on January 24, 1967 and was preceded in death by her.

He is survived by his children; John Edwards and wife Amanda, Jeffrey Edwards of South Carolina, Debbie Bohn and husband James of Florida, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, a brother James Edwards and wife Carol of Florida, and sister Marilyn Mann and husband Jack of Michigan. Besides his wife he is also preceded in death by four sisters; Jean, Joanne, Lorraine, and Eileen. Honoring Stephen’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no service is planned.
