Mr. J.D. McCain, 28, of Summertown passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018 from injuries sustained in an A.T.V. accident. Mr. McCain was born August 24, 1990 in Augusta to George McCain and Joyclyn McKenzie McCain. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, J.D. & Florie McKenzie; paternal grandparents, J.T. & Evelyn McCain.

Mr. McCain enjoyed fishing, hunting, drinking hot beer, cooking a.k.a grilling, riding dirt roads, watching tv and playing video games. He loved all music genres, spending time with family, and loved his nieces and nephews. Survivors include his mother, Joy McCain (Steve Wilson) of Summertown; father, George McCain of Soperton; brothers, Chris McKenzie (Jennifer) of Swainsboro, Josh Fortier (Laurie) of Augusta, P.T. McCain and Leo Wilson both of Summertown; sisters, Augusta McCain (Don Drew) of Midville and Evelyn Stannard (Collin) of Fairview Park, Ohio, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many friends.

Celebration of life service will be held at 28 Summertown Smith Street. 1 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018. Condolences may be expressed at www.
