Mrs. Tonya Stapleton, 37, of Adrian passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Doctors Hospital of Augusta, GA following a brief illness. Mrs. Stapleton was born June 10, 1981 in Tuscaloosa, AL to Danny Robert Jump and Glenda Ann Williams Jump. She is preceded in death by her mother; daughter; Harley Stapleton, maternal grandparents; Norma and Hubert Williams; paternal grandparents; Dave and Mary Jump.

Mrs. Stapleton moved to Dexter, GA when she was six years old and then moved to Adrian, in 2006. She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening and taking care of her family. Survivors include her husband, Ellie Stapleton, Jr; father, Danny Jump of Cadwell; sons, Kevin T. Allen and Kaleb J. Allen both of Adrian; daughters, Dixie Chyane Stapleton of Adrian, Ocean B. Stapleton (Cody) of Collins, Nona L. Stapleton of Wadley; brother, Emanuel Jump (Lisa) of Dublin; sister, Tosha Lowery (Matt) of Rentz; grandson, Gage Lariscey; several cousins, aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Services will be at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2018. Interment will follow in Mt.

Zion Primitive Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home. Pallbearers are D.J. Passmore, Josh Jump, James Arnold, Brandon Deese and Aaron Deese.
