Jean Ellen Truitt, age 90, of Mansfield, formerly of West Milton, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Wedgewood Estates in Mansfield. She was born January 8, 1928 to the late Deuane S. & Susan R. (Gnagey) Kelly in West Milton, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her first husband John Dick, second husband Pete Ross and third husband James L. Truitt; son Joe Dick and brothers Jack Kelly, James E. Kelly, Jerry Lee Kelly and J.D. Kelly.

She will be missed and remembered by her daughter Jovita (Joe) Prats of Mansfield; step children Vicki (James) Gilbert of West Milton, Jane Turner of Huber Heights, Debbie (Dave) Kracirick of Dayton; daughter-in-law Kristine Klipstine-Dick Hayes; grandchildren Jena Prats (Shad Creamer) of Mansfield, Jessa (Tyler) Wolfe of Pataskala, Mimi Klipstine Dick of New York, Matthew (Karen) Gilbert of Lakeland, FL, Molly (Craig) Brown of West Milton, Tiffany (Mat) Hackney of Dayton, Jessica (Chris) Esquivel and David Kracirick; 8 great grandchildren and sister Joann (Leon) Rhoades. Jean was a 1945 Milton-Union High School graduate and worked 21 years as an office manager for Allied Services. She also was a member of the Grandmother’s Club and Hoffman United Methodist Church, past member of West Milton Church of the Brethren, loved square dancing, ballroom dancing, traveling the states and overseas, volunteering at church and spending time with family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM with Pastor Robbie Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, West Milton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Milton-Union Alumni Association, PO Box 383, West Milton, OH 45383.
