GOFTON, JEAN M. (KENNEDY) 58, passed away at her home, Friday, March 8, 2019. Beloved wife of Jeffrey D. Gofton for 31 years. She was born in Providence to the late Robert S. and Margaret (Moran) Kennedy and grew up in West Warwick.

Jean was kind hearted and had a great sense of humor. She was well known as a Mother to all and was truly one of a kind. She also leaves behind her two sons Jeffrey A. and Zachary R. and her daughter McKenzie M. Gofton, her siblings Deborah Kennedy, James M. Kennedy and Kathleen Turchetta.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 4-7 PM at the IANNOTTI FUNERAL HOME, 451 Washington St. (Rte. 117), Coventry. A service will be held on Friday, March 15 at 10 AM at the funeral home.

Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jean’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at www. stjude.org.
