Obituary for Jean Leach (Lanter) Jean Leach, age 89, of Paris and formerly of Richmond, died on Monday, November 26, 2018 at her home. She was born on February 26, 1929, in Bourbon County, the daughter of the late Carl and Lucreasie Jones Lanter. She was a graduate of Center Hill School and a retired claims processor for a medical office.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Spears Mill Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Connie Sosby, Pamela Wade, both of Paris; four grandchildren, Shanda (Bryan) Smith, Jason (DeAnna) Wade, Justin Wade, Tyler Sosby; eight great grandchildren; two great, great grandchild; two sisters, Mary Wells, Millersburg, Virginia Clevenger, Galion, Ohio; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Lanter, Paris. The funeral service for Ethel Jean Leach will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Rev.

Philip D. Ronk officiating. Interment will follow in Jacksonville Cemetery with casket bearers being Jason Wade, Justin Wade, Bryan Smith, Tyler Sosby, Bradan Smith, and Austin Wade. Justin David Wade will serve as honorary bearer.
