OBITUARY Jean M Lawrence October 22, 1931 – November 14, 2018 Memorial services for Jean Maree Lawrence, age 87, of Pell City, Alabama will be held at Pell City First United Methodist Church on Sunday, November 18, 2018, at 2:00 o’clock. Mrs. Lawrence passed away November 14, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Wilson Lawrence, her parents, Josh and Corinne Blanchard Maree of Lexa, Arkansas, her sister, Sue Maree Guyton (Robert) of Mountain Home, Arkansas, her brother, Billy Whit Maree of Lonoke, Arkansas.

She is survived by her daughter, Jill Maree Blankenship (Joe) of Clay, Alabama, her granddaughter, Jennifer Eure Pickle (James), her great granddaughter, Olivia Nicole Schrecongost of Leeds, Alabama, sisters Helen Maree Weaver of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Mary Maree Derrick (Robert) of Dover, Arkansas, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lawrence was a 21 year member of the Pell City Civil Air Patrol and as a rated Observer flew often with her husband, Lt. Colonel John W. Lawrence.

She was a member of the Eastern Star. Lt. Colonel Lawrence and Mrs. Lawrence were married in 1955 and spent 62 ½ happy years together.

They will be buried together at the National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to local charities to benefit military personnel. Condolence may be offered online at www.
