In Loving Memory of Jean Marie Ziemann Jean Ziemann was born October 11, 1941 in Slayton, Minnesota to Ralph and Marie Winkler-Sharp Paige. She grew up in Slayton and graduated from Slayton High School in 1959. On June 7, 1962 she and Arnold Ziemann were married at Christ Lutheran Church in Slayton.

Following their marriage they made their home in Lake Wilson, MN and raised their four children. In August 2018 Jean moved to the Pipestone Good Samaritan Home. Due to failing health Jean moved to the Pipestone Hospice Home on October 18, 2018 and passed away there on November 3, 2018 at the age of 77.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Lake Wilson where she was active in the ladies group. Jean had a strong faith, which she instilled to her children and grandchildren. Jean favorite thing to do was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jean enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting, crafts and cooking. Survivors include her husband, Arnold Ziemann of Lake Wilson, MN, four children and their spouses, Dawn and Doug Jensen of Sioux Falls, SD, Joan and John Lupkes of Lake Wilson, MN, Mike and Michele Ziemann Fort Dodge, IA, and Tim Ziemann of Mankato, MN, five grandchildren, Amber Bachtell and her husband, Chris, Noah and Elle Lupkes, and Grahamn and Paige Ziemann, two great-grandchildren, Alexis and Sam Bachtell. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial Services Totzke Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Vicki Hultine officiating. The pallbearers are Tim Ziemann, Mike Ziemann, Doug Jensen, John Lupkes, Noah Lupkes and Chris Bachtell.

Interment is at Slayton Memorial Gardens in Slayton, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.
