Obituary for Mrs. Jean Miller Wells-Parker Mrs. Jean Miller Wells-Parker, 65, of Tignall, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at her home. A native of Aiken County, South Carolina, Jean was the daughter of the late James and Laura Walker Miller. She was the wife of Joe Parker, and enjoyed hobbies such as fishing and playing Bingo.

Jean dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time with them. Survivors include her husband, Joe Parker; three sons: Michael Bodie, Robert Brad Wells, and Ronald Benjamin Wells; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind one brother, Michael Wayne “Bug” Miller; and one sister, Shirley Asbell.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by a brother, James Angus Miller; and three sisters: Mary Barwick, Sally Boland, and Jackie Spires. A memorial service to celebrate Mrs. Parker’s life was held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Fishing Creek Baptist Church. Arrangements for Mrs. Jean Wells-Parker were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
