Obituary for Jeanelle Bester Print Jeanelle Pittman Bester, 83, of Interlachen, passed from this life on Monday, February 18, 2019 at Solaris Healthcare Palatka following an extended illness. She was a native of Poplarville, MS and had lived in Putnam County since 1994 coming from Umatilla. Jeanelle enjoyed being a homemaker and loved cooking for her family and friends.

She was of the Jehovah’s Witness and enjoyed sharing her hope in the future with others. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Bester, her son, Michael Bester, parents, Will and Auler Pittman and siblings, Willie Mae and L. J. Pittman. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Moses Bester, Sr. of Interlachen, children, LaShanet Bester and Cynthia Hall both of Interlachen, Deborah Gallian, Carolyn Harris (Dion) and Laron Bester (Clarissa) all of Slidell, LA, and Moses Bester, Jr. (Gwendolyn) of Douglasville, GA, siblings, A.J. Pittman, Billy Pittman (Emma) and Ola Mearl Smith (Major), 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Interlachen, 1404 SR20 with Bro. Ralph Davis officiating. Memories and condolences may be expressed to the family at Jeanelle’s Book of Memories page at www.
