Jeanine’s Obituary 80 year old Jeanine Cook Caldwell of Smithville passed away Thursday at NHC of Smithville. She was retired from Smithville First Baptist Church where she was the former Church Secretary and a member. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home.

Chad Ramsey, Beth Duke, and Mark Thomas will officiate and burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service at 2 p.m. She was preceded in death by husbands, Shirley Cook and Hoyte Caldwell; parents, Edward David and Pauline Hudson Nixon; and sister, Paulette Nixon Hernandez. Survivors include two daughters, Joy and Charlie Parker of Smithville and Jill and Mark McSparren of Austin, Texas.

Four grandchildren, Claire Garrett and Katie Parker of Smithville, Annie and Josh Perkins of Sunset, Texas, and Quenton McSparren of Nashville. Four great grandchildren, Summer Garrett, Marley Anderson, and Ryland and Nolan Perkins. Three sisters, Annette Leivestad and Annessa Nixon of Clarksville, and Anona Williamson of Knoxville.

Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. In addition to flowers, donations in memory of Jeanine may be made to the Smithville First Baptist Church.
