Annette Charlene Rackley Gaus age 50 of Smithville passed away Wednesday morning May 15, 2019 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. She was born September 22, 1968 to her parents, the late Charles Rackley and Peggy Bissonette. She attended Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Mike Gaus; Son: James Lee Pittard; Paternal Grandparents: Bill and Altie Marie Rackley; Maternal Grandparents: Edward and Betty Jo Vanatta; Uncle: Johnny Wayne Rackley. Funeral services for Annette will be held 2:PM Friday May 17, 2019 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bros. David McMinn and Michael Hale officiating and burial to follow in the Whorton Springs Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be Friday 10:AM until time of the service at 2:PM. Survivors include 1 sister: Paulette Keaton of McMinnville; Brother-in-law: Charlie Evans of McMinnville; Nephews: Cody (Danielle) Keaton, Hunter (Brittany) Keaton both of McMinnville. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Suncrest Home Health for the care provided to Annette.
