Obituary for Jeanne Meek (Whitmer) Print Jeanne Meek, 94, of Charlotte, NC. , formerly of New Cumberland, PA, died Friday, January 25th. Mrs. Meek was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Donald Meek.

For 32 years, she served as secretary for the First Church of the Brethren in Harrisburg, PA. Her immediate surviving family includes: daughter, Rebecca Horack; a granddaughter, Jeanne Davis and her husband, Derek and their sons, Parker and Trevor, all of Charlotte, NC; and a grandson, Trey Horack and his wife, Pam and their sons Donald and Kevin, all of Lake Wylie, SC. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the “Living Witness Fund” of the First Church of the Brethren, 219 Hummel Street, Harrisburg, PA 17184.
