Obituary of Jeanne Shafer Jeanne Marie Shafer of Simi Valley, CA passed away peaceful on October 9,2018 at the age of 93. She was born in Akron, OH on May 11, 1925 and moved to California in 1950. She is proceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Robert Shafer and son Robert Shafer II.

Jeanne enjoyed careers in modeling and as a district manager for Avon until her retirement in 1986. She also enjoyed being active in the Woman’s Club of Alta Dena in Simi Valley and was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church where she helped to get Pads started for the homeless. She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Counts and Betsy Hospodar, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be missed by many. May she rest in peace with her loved ones in heaven. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 4191 Cochran Street, Simi Valley, CA on Saturday November 10, 2018 at 11:00am.
