Jeannie L. Karr, 47, of Stockport, Iowa, formerly of Davenport, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua, Iowa. A gathering to celebrate Jeannie’s life will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Roosevelt Community Center, 1220 Minnie Ave. , Davenport.

Jeannie was born on December 29, 1971 in Davenport, the daughter of Clifford and Sandra (Ritter) Downing. On July 15, 1995 she married Robert Karr in Davenport. Jeannie worked as a direct support professional at Silver Palms in Mt.

Pleasant, Iowa. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Robert Karr of Stockport; son, Jacob (Brittney) Karr of Davenport; daughters, Holly (Richard) Copley of Davenport, Amy (Cody Ramer) Karr of Morning Sun, Iowa; mother, Sandra Downing of Davenport; sister, Robbin (Rick) Dunn of Davenport; and three grandchildren, Zoey Ehlers, Chloe Karr, and Ryland Karr. She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford.
