Obituary for Jeff E. Fleck Dateline Jasper, IN Jeff E. Fleck, age 61, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 8:25 a.m. CDT on Friday, June 15, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana, surrounded by his family. Jeff was born on January 3, 1957 in Jasper, Indiana to Albert H. and LaVern C. (Sermersheim) Fleck. Jeff had worked for SIRS in Ferdinand, and had also worked for the Jasper Knights of Columbus and other area restaurants.

He was an Eagle Scout with Troop #188 and was a Special Olympics athlete, winning numerous medals. Jeff was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, the Jasper Knights of Columbus, and an associate member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family at his residence in Jacob’s Village in Evansville, collecting stuffed animals, and shrimp dinners.

Surviving is one sister, Lisa Kuebler (Scott), Jasper, five brothers, Steve Fleck (Nancy), Jasper, Pat Fleck (Lavern), Evansville, Greg Fleck (Connie), Evansville, Chris Fleck, Newburgh, and Doug Fleck, Jasper, nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Albert and LaVern Fleck, one nephew, Nathan Fleck, one sister-in-law, Mary Fleck, and one great-niece Mia Collier. A Mass of Christian Burial for Jeff E. Fleck will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Funeral Home in Jasper, and from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. service time at Holy Family Catholic Church on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, Jacob’s Village in Evansville, or to a favorite charity. A special thanks to the staff at Jacob’s Village in Evansville for their caring and loving support of Jeff.
