Obituary for Gary L. “Reggie” Knust Dateline Jasper, IN Gary L. “Reggie” Knust, age 61 of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at home. Gary was born in Jasper, Indiana on September 21, 1956 to Alvin C. and Estella L (Ketzner) Knust. He married Beckie Bartley on September 13, 1986 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

He worked as a Mortgage Lender for several area banks for most of his life, and recently worked part time for the Jasper Knights of Columbus. Gary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. He was a 4th Degree Knight and previous Grand Knight with the Jasper Knights of Columbus.

He enjoyed playing golf, bowling, reading, was an avid San Francisco Giants and Green Bay Packers Fan, and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Surviving are his wife, Beckie Knust of Jasper, one daughter, Amy Knust, Jasper, one son Andrew Knust, Jasper, one sister, Linda Beck (Randy) Jasper, and three brothers, Edward Knust, Jasper, Eugene Knust, Florida, and Paul Knust (Donna), Jasper. Preceding him in death were his parents and one nephew, Bradley Knust.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Gary L. “Reggie” Knust will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, with burial to follow at a later date. A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 8, 2018 at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Funeral Home in Jasper. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Jasper Knights of Columbus or to a favorite charity.
