Obituary for Timothy W. Rohleder Dateline Jasper, IN Timothy W. Rohleder, age 69 of Jasper, IN, passed away at 9:10 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper, IN. Tim was born in Jasper, Indiana on August 17, 1948 to Martin X. Jr. and Catherine F. (Kunkel) Rohleder. He married Mary Ann Wiedenmann on December 5, 1984 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran stationed at Mare Island in San Francisco, CA and Memphis, TN from 1970 to 1974. He was a member of the American Legion Post #147 in Jasper and the Burton Woolery American Legion Post #18 in Bloomington, IN. He was a self employed manufacturer’s representative for specialty architectural products.

Tim was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. He was a lifetime member of the I.U. Alumni Association and a member of the I.U. Varsity Club. He enjoyed his work, running, hiking, sports, and spending time with his family and friends.

He will be remembered as a kind, caring, compassionate, and loyal husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. Surviving are his wife Mary Ann Rohleder and their dog “Jasper”, three brothers, Phil Rohleder (Penny), Orlando, FL, Mike Rohleder (Carole), Ferdinand, and Jeff “Gus” Rohleder (Jo), Naples, FL, two sisters, Marsha Tellstrom (Jan), West Baden, Anne Brosmer (Kenny), Jasper, and brother-in-law, Charlie Wiedenmann (Rose), Fairfield, OH, eighteen nieces and nephews, and twenty four great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Tim Rohleder will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, with burial to follow in Shiloh Cemetery in Jasper. The American Legion Post #147 will conduct military gravesite rites. A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.

The family would like to extend our gratitude to all the staff at Jasper Memorial Hospital for their attentiveness and loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or in Tim’s name to the Dubois County Community Foundation – JHS Class of 1966 Endowment or the Ralph E.
