Obituary for Jeffery Allen Barbay Jr. Print Jeffery “JJ” Allen Barbay, Jr., born in Baton Rouge August 17, 1970, entered the arms of Jesus on Jan 15, 2019. He will be remembered for his witty sense of humor, love for his family, caring heart and love for Nascar. His passion for cars led him to be a skilled auto mechanic for over 25 years.

Jeff loved the quiet serenity of the outdoors and “the camp” in Mississippi where he spent several years with his grandparents Pete and ‘Stell Wall who loved him dearly. Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Lucille “Kay” Pritchard, grandparents Alfred “Pete” and Vera Estelle Wall and Nolan and Imogene Barbay. He is survived by his wife Tonya Riddle Barbay, sons Hunter Blake Barbay and Jaxon Alexander Barbay, father Jeffrey Allen Barbay, Sr., step-mother Lorie Marie Barbay, step-brother Justin Mathew Barbay and step-sister Noelie Marie Barbay, step-father Patrick Runnels Pritchard, sister Jennifer Shea Pritchard Hoffmann, brother in law Dennis Wayne Hoffmann Jr. and nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be conducted by Pastor Luke Hendrickson at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Liberty, Mississippi on January 26, 2019 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations to be made to Charlet Funeral Home in Zachary Louisiana.
