Jeffrey Dywayne Griffith, 56, of Weaverville, North Carolina, passed away Monday, March 4, 2019, at Mission Memorial Hospital in Asheville. Jeff was born in Buncombe County, North Carolina on March 24, 1962, to Joseph Griffith the late Patsy Ballew Grey. He was married to Pam Fox Griffith.

Jeff was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, and woodworking. He was a firearms enthusiast and was proud of his gun collection. Most of all, Jeff loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He will be greatly missed. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Pam Griffith of Weaverville; his father, Joseph Griffith of Virginia; a daughter, Amy Bentley and husband Robert of Brevard, NC; a son, Chris Moore and fiancé Wendy of Barnardsville, NC; a sister, Delena Mabus and husband William of Aiken, SC; a brother, Ronald Edmonds and wife Holly of California; and six grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Northview Mission Church, 118 Northview Park Road, Weaverville, NC 28787 with Brothers Ronald Dodson and C.W. officiating.
