Obituary for Jeffrey Julius Goodwin Jeffrey J. Goodwin, known to family and friends as “Jeff” age 58 passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. He was born September 22, 1959, in Ronoke, VA to James Goodwin and Olivia Beckner Goodwin. He attend the WSFC Schools.

Immediately after graduating from high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force; after serving his country for four years. He returned to Winston Salem and was employed with Josten’s printing company for 25 years. Jeff was currently employed with Arbor Acres.

After 22 years of marriage, Jeff is survived by the love of his life Priscilla Goodwin, sons Jason Goodwin, Al Mitchell, daughter Latoya (Nickalos Hogue), Grandchildren Juwaun Parker, AL Mitchell III, Aliana Mitchell, Alexia Mitchell, and Mitchell Hogue, Great grand Children Ja’Nylan Parker, Jayden Parker, Sisters Valerie Crawford and Gilda Reid, mother n law Helen Thomas, sisters n laws Karen (Delphis Caldwell III), Bishop Sharon (Fredrick Allen), Comeka Thomas, Tonya Thomas, brother n laws Darnell Covington, Octavius (Brittney Covington), Antonio Thomas, Qumark Thomas. A host of cousins, nieces, nephews and relatives.
