Obituary for Jeffrey Nathaniel Riner Nathaniel Riner, 72, of Dundee, FL passed away Monday, October 29, 2018. Born February 9, 1946 in Tifton, GA to Lynwood Jeffrey and Gladys Riner, where he resided until the family moved to Ocala, FL in 1959. After graduating from Ocala High School in 1964, he relocated to Winter Haven, FL entering the construction industry.

He built by hand his permanent residence in Dundee, FL in 1972 where he also established and ran the successful, Riner Layout Company, for 40 years retiring as a General Contractor in 2009. He attended some vocation and community college coursing obtaining his General Contractors license as one of the first in Polk County in 1982. He was adventurous in travel by sea enjoying many cruises with his wife, Debbie, as well as the family and by air with his pilot’s license and Cessna.

A devote Southern Baptist, he enjoyed attending church at Dundee Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher for several years. He is preceded in death by his loving son: Scott Allen Riner, parents: Lynwood and Gladys Riner, siblings: David and Kathy Riner. He is survived by his wife, Debbie, having just celebrated their 29 years of marriage October 21st.

His children: Linda Riner-Mizell of Dundee, FL and Justin J. Riner, Sr. of Lake Wales, FL and stepchildren: Joy Schofield of Lakeland, FL, Michelle Terry of Arkansas, and Jason McKinnon of Lakeland, FL. His brothers: Wayne, Charles, Roger, Richard, Phil, and Tim Riner and sister, Susan Burch all of FL. His many grandchildren: Jenny, Will, Josh, Forest, Drew, Tori, Justin Jr., Katlyn, Sam, Hunter, Lauren, Wade, Dane, Peyton, Dalton, and Ethan along with great grandchildren: Lelani, Ollie, and Karleigh.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6PM to 8PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Home of Winter Haven. Funeral Services will be Friday at 1PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Home with Graveside Burial following at Rolling Hills Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Get-Together will be held after the burial at the Riner Family Residence in Dundee, FL.
