Jennifer’s Obituary Jennifer Diane Netland was called to heaven on May 21, 2019 with her loved ones beside her holding her hands. Jenni was born March 3, 1971 in Menomonee, MI to John and Diane Oberbeck. She started kindergarten in Janesville, WI, continued grade school at St. Mary’s in Altoona and graduated from Regis High School in Eau Claire.

She then went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. It was during college that she met her future husband Tom at a ski trip in northern Michigan. They were married Dec 31, 1998 and were later blessed with two children, Joseph and Emily, whom she considered to be her greatest accomplishments.

She was a stay-at-home mom (a time she cherished) until they began school. She began working as a tutor for the AVID program in the Robbinsdale School District. She was fond of her students and was loved by them in return.

Jenni is preceded in death by dad, John Oberbeck and father-in-law, Paul. She is survived by loving husband, Tom; children, Joey and Emily; mom, Diane Oberbeck; brother, Mike Oberbeck (Cyndi); mother-in-law, Jill; brother-in-law, Mike; sister-in-law, Michelle Shumaker (Dave); nieces and nephews, Rachel, Sam, Jesse and Justin; many loving aunts, uncles, neighbors, friends and furry friend, Louie. Memorial service 12:00 Noon Saturday, May 25th at St. Philip the Deacon, 17205 County Road 6, Plymouth with visitation 1 hour prior to service at church.
