“No dream is too big. Your success is defined only by you” Jennifer Marie Rivera, 2018 Jennifer Marie Rivera, known to all as “Jenn” was born September 21, 1983 in Bellflower, CA. In 2001, she graduated from Fontana High School and went on to graduate with an Associate’s degree in Accounting from Everest College, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in Business Administration, both from Argosy University.

Jenn started working at Argosy University in 2009 with the Office of Student Financial Services. She assisted over 700 students achieve their dream of higher education by providing financial literacy and awareness while assisting students and parents with the financial aid process. Jenn left Argosy for a career in Social Services to explore her passion for helping people.

In 2014, she started with San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health as a Staff Analyst I. In the Office of Cultural Competence and Ethnic Services she worked on the development and monitoring of cultural competency and then transferred to Contracts Administration in 2017. Jenn was excited about her new job with the Department of Aging and Adult Services where she would begin work ensuring that seniors and adults with disabilities maintain choice, independence and quality of life. Jenn is known by all for her willingness to help and her knowledge of just about everything.

If she was not at H&R Block, selling Gold Canyon candles, or inspiring confidence in women with Mary Kay, she was spending time with all the people that she loved. Jennifer’s smile and hugs will be missed, but the positive difference that she made in the lives of all who knew her will live on forever. Jenn is survived by her loving mother, Mary I. Rivera and her sisters, Christina and Jacqueline Rivera.
