Jenny Triebel LaPointe of Glen Ellyn passed away on January 21. Beloved wife of Michael Robert LaPointe for 34 years; Loving mother of Matthew and Lindsay; Devoted daughter of the late Richard and Jacqueline Triebel; Fond sister of Sally (Kevin) Werntz; Aunt of Jason, Scott, and Greg McAndrew, Daniel and Kevin Kastholm, Grant and Ethan LaPointe, and Drew Werntz. Jenny was a respected realtor for 25 plus years, working out of the Koenig and Strey and ReMax Glen Ellyn offices.

She also worked as a senior telecommunications analyst for Allstate and Dean Witter. Jenny was a gifted decorator and enjoyed arranging flowers for outdoor and indoor settings. Visitation will be Thursday, January 24 from 3 – 9 PM at Leonard Memorial Home (565 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn 60137).

A memorial service will be Saturday, January 26 at 10 AM at First Presbyterian Church (550 N Main Street, Glen Ellyn 60137). In lieu of flowers, donations to the University of Chicago Cancer Center (cancer. uchicago.

edu/foundation/associates-board/donate) would be appreciated.
