Jerralene (Jerry) Ellis Metz, 72, of Burns Flat, Oklahoma was born on July 28, 1946 in Elk City, Oklahoma. She is the daughter of Raymond Luther Ellis and Rubye (French) Ellis. She went to be with her heavenly father on Monday, December 31, 2018 in Burns Flat, Oklahoma.

Jerry graduated from Elk City High School. Jerry also attended Gallup Community College and Baltimore School of Acupuncture. She married James Leroy Metz Sr. (Jim) on June 7th, 1991 in Bel Air, Maryland.

She also enjoyed hosting parties, entertaining family and collecting things. Family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 pm Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Cherishing her memory are her husband, Jim of the home; one son, Gary Ellis Dugger and his wife Stacia Sauerwein of Baltimore, Maryland; one step-son Jim Metz, Jr. of Baltimore, Maryland; one daughter, Jerian Moeller and her husband Cary of Glen Burnie, Maryland; three grandchildren, Zach Moeller and his wife Deanna Edmunds, Zoe Moeller and son Desmond Murray and Nik Moeller of Glen Burnie, Maryland; two brothers, Roger (Kent) Ellis and wife, Anne of California, Larry Ellis and Jerry Dyer of Bethany, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Rubye Ellis, one brother, Don Ellis, and one infant brother. Memorials can be made to the charity of your choice in care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home, P.O. Box 707, Elk City, Oklahoma 73648.
