Jerry was the son of Sam and Joyce Mestas, brother of Rose Thompson (Johney) and Rick (Lori) uncle of Michelle and Rick Jr. Jerry graduated from Poudre High School in 1969. An Army veteran, he proudly served his country from 1971-1979 with tours in Vietnam and Germany.
