Obituary for Jerry E. Linthicum Jerry E. Linthicum, 85, of Frontenac, KS died 8:57am Saturday June 30, 2018 at his home from natural causes. Jerry was born April 8, 1933 in Arma, KS the son of Maurice and Lucy (Bosinio) Linthicum. Jerry was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Pittsburg High School.

He later earned his B.S. Degree at Kansas Teacher’s College in Pittsburg, KS. He worked for Boeing in Wichita; KS; McNally’s in Pittsburg, KS; List and Clark Construction in Pittsburg, KS; taught automotive in Arma, KS and most notably, owner and operator of Jerry’s Auto Service in Frontenac and Pittsburg, KS. Jerry was of the Christian Faith; loved hunting, fishing, golfing and most of all his family.

Survivors include his children Lynn Grant and husband Pat of Frontenac, KS, Lanna Stewart of Girard, KS and Todd Linthicum and wife Penny of Pittsburg, KS; sister Maurine Zook of Austin, TX; close cousin Mike Matthews of Tennessee; grandchildren Megan Basore, Danny Grant, Nick Grant, Taylor Stewart, Tori Stewart and Lauren Stewart and 2 great-grandchildren. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents. Private ceremonies will take place at a later date.
