Jerry Faircloth, age 78, of Dublin, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Mr. Faircloth was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and the Oasis Small Group.

He retired from Husqvarna in 2007 and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, William Faircloth; mother, Vera Lanier Faircloth, and brother, Billy Faircloth. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Deborah Glisson Faircloth, of Dublin; sons, Daniel Faircloth (Dana), of St. Mary’s, GA, Shane Faircloth (Jamie), of Dublin, and Jason Lumley (Debora), of Cochran; daughters, Jean Lewis, of Metter, and June Lacy, of Glennville; sister, Edna Lanier, of Metter; 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; father and mother-in-law, Franklin and Jeanette Glisson, of Swainsboro; brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Donna Bellamy, of Swainsboro, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Liberty Baptist Church. Rev. Chris Dixon and Rev.

Doug Hines will officiate. Burial will be held at 2:00PM at Blundale Baptist Church Cemetery in Swainsboro. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until funeral hour on Friday.

Pallbearers will be John Pugh, Eric Roland, Ralph Brown, Cameron Lumley, Jake Lumley, and Ashton Bellamy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Liberty Baptist Church Building Fund.
