Mr. Ereckson was born February 1, 1941 in Whitehouse, Texas to Harry Earl Ereckson and Jessie Marie Lemmons Ereckson and passed away February 3, 2019 in Marshall, Texas. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sue Baze Ereckson; sisters, Wanda Louise Ereckson Willoe, Hazel Marie Ereckson Chastain; brothers, John Harry Ereckson and Gene Emmit Ereckson.

He is survived by his nieces, Susan Willoe Fonss, Wanda Jean Willoe, Pamela Ereckson Fox, and Debra Ereckson; nephews, Scott Ereckson, John Ereckson, and sister-in-law Genevieve Ereckson.
