Jerry Hudson Peters Appleton – Jerry Peters, age 80, passed away peacefully at home on April 17th, 2018. Jerry was born on November 28, 1937, in Cicero, WI to Herbert and Arlene (Owen). Jerry grew up in Oshkosh, where he met his loving wife Karla (Bahr) Peters.

Jerry and Karla were married on June 18, 1960 in Oshkosh, WI. They were blessed with two children, Kent and Mark Peters and later moved to Appleton. Jerry was a manager for Ameritech and was a member of the Wisconsin National Guard, 32nd division.

Jerry was a man of few words, but words that could quiet a room and spark laughter and a smile. Jerry will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Karla (Bahr) Peters; his two sons: Kent Peters and Mark Peters.

Brothers: Clint (Shirley) Peters, Bruce (Margie) Peters, Manuel (Mary Lou), and Sister Phyllis (Richard)(Grey). Grandchildren: Kyrstn (Dan) Bergh and Philip Peters, Great-Grandson Oliver, and countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Arlene Peters, his brothers: David, Herbert Jr. and Michael, and his sister Amber.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Jerry’s life on Saturday April 28th at 1:00, at the Capital Center in Appleton, WI. There will be a time to share stories and honor his life.
