John Rollin Church, 70, of Appleton, WI, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at his home. John was born March 24, 1948 in Berkeley, CA, beloved son to William Pate and Catherine (Cole) Church. Above all, John was a loving and devoted father, who enjoyed spending time with his girls.

John owned Church Landscaping servicing Chicago’s North Shore, and he spent his retirement years in Northeast Wisconsin. John is survived by his daughters, Christianna (Quinn) Callahan of Appleton, WI, Susan Church of Philadelphia, PA, his two grandchildren, Pepper and Peja Callahan, his brother, Rev. Thomas (Julia) Church of Bellmawr, NJ, many nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Carol Mathers of Neenah, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Catherine. A celebration of his life will be held 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Apple Valley Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 1750 Olde Buggy Drive, Neenah, WI, with the Rev. John Hartley officiating.

John’s family will receive relatives and friends at the church on Wednesday from1:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
