Jerry Lamar Walker, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, died Sunday, March 10, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was 81. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2PM, Friday, March 15, 2019 at Eddins Road Pentecostal Ministries with Reverend Jimmy Cook officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church. Born to the late Otis and Annie Scroggins Walker, Mr. Walker served his country in the United States Army for nine years, making the rank of Sargent. After returning to the Wiregrass Area, he began his career as a salesman, owning and operating a car sales business for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 60 years, Glenda Gayle Walker; and a brother, Jack Walker. Survivors include a son, Timothy Walker (Martha); a daughter, Deborah Trammell; two sisters, Sylvia Toth, and Betty Kennerson; three grandchildren, Krystal Learned (Graham), Anna and Jerry Trammell.
