Jerry N. Quinn, 76, of East Moline, Illinois died Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Trinity Rock Island. Visitation is Monday, May 21st from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at New Boston Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at New Boston United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left for a charity of choice. Jerry was born in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin on December 11, 1941 the son of Daniel H. and Louise Tindell Quinn. He retired from Roth Pump after 40 years of service.

On January 20, 2015 in Aledo, Illinois, he married his longtime companion, Charlene Long. From going to car shows and working on car restorations to annually attending the World Series of Drag Racing…it was easy to say Jerry was a car enthusiast. His prize possession was his 1965 Malibu Chevelle.

He also liked to camp, fish and boat. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife: Charlene Quinn of East Moline, IL; children: Jodi (Steve) Palmer of Reynolds, IL and Tony (Heather) Scranton of Proctor, OK; grandchildren: Cassondra Streitmatter, Amber (Dusty) McKeag, Haylea Scranton and Jordan Scranton and great grandchildren: Rayann Streitmatter, Connor McKeag and Kylee McKeag. He was preceded in death by his parents.
