Jerry Ronald Henry, Sr., 73, of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday, May 28, 2018 at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital in Phenix City. A visitation will be held from 6-8 Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Vance Memorial Chapel at everyone is encouraged to wear their Alabama gear in memory of “Mr. Bama”. A private service will be held for the family.

Mr. Henry was born September 5, 1944 in Columbus, GA, to the late Ezra Henry and Lucille Dowdy Henry. For over 40 years Mr. Henry worked for Coca-Cola before retiring allowing him to enjoy his family and a little more fishing time. He was a huge fan of Alabama football, the Atlanta Braves and the Falcons, sometimes.

Mr. Henry loved Jesus and would often witness to people at the dialysis center. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Charles Henry. Mr. Henry is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Carolyn Henry; son, Ronald Henry, Jr. wife Donna; daughter, Kim Elver husband Brett; grandchildren, Amanda, Kyle, Ashley, Haley and Kyndal; great-grandchild, Eli; siblings, Peggy Cain, James Henry wife Carol, and Debra Hall; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and many caring friends.
