Jerry Tosh November 14, 1953 – May 10, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card Gerald Grant “Jerry” Tosh Jr. was born November 14, 1953 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Salley Oleta Jones and Gerald Grant Tosh. He passed away May 10, 2019 at Dill City, Oklahoma at the age of 65 years, 5 months and 26 days. Jerry grew up in Elk City where he graduated from high school in 1972.

He moved to Tupelo, MS where he managed a Sonic Drive In. After he returned to Elk City he owned and operated filling stations in Elk City, Canute and Weatherford, OK. He married Cindy Cooper October 10, 1982 and they lived in Sayre when their son, Grant Tosh was born on June 28, 1984.

He always told the story that they used the Cheyenne Memorial Hospital because they were the least expensive. Jerry was known as a wheeler dealer and currently owned and operated Tosh’s Mobile RV/Camper Repair. He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Judy Hill.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Grant and Stacie Tosh, Dill City, OK and their daughter, Avaleigh, 3 brothers, Terry Tosh and Vicki S., Sayre, OK, Larry Tosh and wife, Vicki L., Elk City and Steve Tosh and wife, Jamie, Elk City, OK; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2019, 10:30 AM at Second & Adams Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Whinery Funeral Service.
